The Man from the Window casts you as Mama Rabbit trapped in a bedtime tale turned real. With only five minutes to act, you must hide your child, barricade the house, and use every available object before he gets inside. Can you outwit the man at the window?
The Man from the Window Game Story
Mother Rabbit has just finished a long shift at the bakery; her heavy steps make her ache. When she arrives home, she only wants a moment to rest, but Junior rushes in terrified, claiming a man from his storybook is at the window.
At first she doubts him. Then she opens the book and reads the title: The Man from the Window.
The tale describes an odd figure with no nose and a spreading, contagious smile. Each night he wanders down shadowy alleys and peers silently into windows, searching for one thing: “A new friend to take away.”
He will arrive and knock on the door. You have only five minutes to hide.
The 5-minute chase begins
The knocking starts as soon as you finish the story. He has come.
You play as the mother rabbit and must:
- Help Junior find a hiding spot (under the table? in the closet?)
- Wedge the sofa against the door to slow him down
- Lock doors with the keys you brought from work
- Open the donut box to create a distraction
- If you set everything up correctly and stretch the five minutes, he will move on
A single mistake, though, could mean someone never comes back.
Many different endings in The Man from the Window
Possible outcomes include:
- Saving both mother and son
- Saving only the son
- Being taken and becoming his “new friend”
Each playthrough changes the pattern—the man checks rooms in a different order—so you must experiment with new strategies to survive.
There are no jump scares, yet the game is unnerving: the quiet, the slow knocks, the creeping opening of the door, and the tense checks of each room make The Man from the Window truly haunting.
